The lodge was built for the forestry crews and let when they moved on. It has a stove, bunks and a proper kitchen. Norrfeld is dark at night and very quiet. The stars are worth going outside for. There is room for 4 guests: 2 bedrooms, 3 beds.

House rules

  • Arrival after 14:00. The key is in a box by the door; the code is on your booking confirmation. Check-out by 10:00.
  • Quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00.
  • Smoking outside only, away from the windows.
  • Pets are not allowed. The host's cat is not a pet in this sense.
  • Visitors who are not booked guests may not stay overnight.
  • Use only the firewood from the stack by the door; do not cut anything.

We came for a funeral in the district and this was the one easy part of the week. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our thanks to Lea for the welcome.

Good value for Tarnhausen. The kettle, the pans and the knives were all good ones. The wireless network is slow in the bedroom.

We asked for a cot and it was there. Clean, comfortable and exactly where it says it is. We will be back.
