The lodge was built for the forestry crews and let when they moved on. It has a stove, bunks and a proper kitchen. Norrfeld is dark at night and very quiet. The stars are worth going outside for. There is room for 4 guests: 2 bedrooms, 2 beds.

Uwe left bread, eggs and coffee for the first morning. Our second time here and it was as good as the first. Our thanks to Uwe for the welcome.

Everything was ready when we arrived. There was a list of shops and their opening hours on the table, which was useful on the Sunday. Book it.

The towels were thick and there were more of them than we needed. The woodcutter's lodge is better than the pictures. We have already booked for next year.

A pleasant woodcutter's lodge in a good spot. The walk into Sudfurt takes ten minutes and there is a good bakery on the way. Bring your own coffee; the tin was nearly empty.
