The cottage is at the end of a row of vines. In September the pickers pass the door at seven. The Sudmark is at its best in September, when the grapes come in. There is room for 4 guests: 2 bedrooms, 3 beds.

House rules

  • Arrival after 14:00. The key is in a box by the door; the code is on your booking confirmation. Check-out by 11:00.
  • No music after ten. The neighbours are early risers.
  • Smoking outside only, away from the windows.
  • Dogs by arrangement, one only, not on the beds.
  • Visitors who are not booked guests may not stay overnight.
  • The cellar is not part of the let unless you are invited into it.

Spotless, warm and quiet. The windows open properly and the mattress is firm. We will be back.

The bus stop is at the end of the road and the timetable is pinned inside the door. Spotless, warm and quiet. Book it.

A solid choice for a week. The kettle, the pans and the knives were all good ones. The stairs are steep with luggage.

Comfortable and clean. The towels were thick and there were more of them than we needed. The mattress in the second room is softer than we like.

There was a list of shops and their opening hours on the table, which was useful on the Sunday. We arrived late and in the rain and it did not matter. We have already booked for next year.
