The cottage is at the end of a row of vines. In September the pickers pass the door at seven. Weinau is in wine country; cellars in the village open for tastings in the afternoons. It sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom.

House rules

  • Check-in between 14:00 and 21:00; late arrivals by arrangement with the host. Check-out by 10:00.
  • No music after ten. The neighbours are early risers.
  • Smoking outside only, away from the windows.
  • Dogs by arrangement, one only, not on the beds.
  • Visitors who are not booked guests may not stay overnight.
  • During the harvest, please leave the lane clear for trailers.

We stayed two nights and enjoyed it. The bus stop is at the end of the road and the timetable is pinned inside the door. The wireless network is slow in the bedroom.

A good stay on the whole. The walk into Weinau takes ten minutes and there is a good bakery on the way. Bring your own coffee; the tin was nearly empty.
