A cottage among the vines with a terrace facing the rows and a bottle from the estate on the table. The Sudmark is at its best in September, when the grapes come in. It sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms.

House rules

  • Arrival after 14:00. The key is in a box by the door; the code is on your booking confirmation. Check-out by 11:00.

  • Dogs by arrangement, one only, not on the beds.
  • No parties. The host lives nearby.
  • During the harvest, please leave the lane clear for trailers.

We came for a funeral in the district and this was the one easy part of the week. The instructions were clear and the key was where they said it would be. Lea was a kind host and answered every message within the hour.

Comfortable and clean. The kettle, the pans and the knives were all good ones. The curtains let in the early light.

There was a list of shops and their opening hours on the table, which was useful on the Sunday. Clean, comfortable and exactly where it says it is. We have already booked for next year.
