The cottage belonged to a fishing family. The boat is gone; the smell of tar in the porch is not. Dammsee is in the Osmoor, in the military district. Guests register with the host on arrival, as the regulations require. It sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom.

The towels were thick and there were more of them than we needed. We came for a funeral in the district and this was the one easy part of the week. We have already booked for next year.

Good value for Dammsee. The instructions were clear and the key was where they said it would be. The mattress in the second room is softer than we like.

The kettle, the pans and the knives were all good ones. Clean, comfortable and exactly where it says it is. Would stay again.
