The hut is thatched with marsh reed and sits on posts above the wet ground. Boots are provided. The Osmoor is quiet at night apart from the garrison. Blackout blinds are fitted and are to be used. It sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms.

House rules
- Check-in between 16:00 and 21:00; late arrivals by arrangement with the host. Check-out by 10:00.
- Please keep noise down after 22:00; the walls are thinner than they look.
- No smoking anywhere on the property, including the porch.
- Pets are not allowed. The host's cat is not a pet in this sense.
- Visitors who are not booked guests may not stay overnight.
- Guests are registered with the host on arrival under the residence regulations. Please bring identity papers.
