The hut is thatched with marsh reed and sits on posts above the wet ground. Boots are provided. The Osmoor is quiet at night apart from the garrison. Blackout blinds are fitted and are to be used. It sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom.

House rules
- Check-in between 16:00 and 21:00; late arrivals by arrangement with the host. Check-out by 11:00.
- Please keep noise down after 22:00; the walls are thinner than they look.
- No smoking anywhere on the property, including the porch.
- Dogs by arrangement, one only, not on the beds.
- No parties or events.
- Do not walk on the marsh after dark or beyond the marker posts.
