The barn was converted by the family. The hayloft is now the bedroom and the threshing floor is the kitchen. Walks from the door lead through orchards and along the river meadows. It sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms.

- Check-in between 16:00 and 21:00; late arrivals by arrangement with the host. Check-out by 11:00.

- Fruit from the trees may be picked; please do not climb them.

The bus stop is at the end of the road and the timetable is pinned inside the door. The barn conversion is better than the pictures. We have already booked for next year.

The walk into Altwald takes ten minutes and there is a good bakery on the way. Our second time here and it was as good as the first. Recommended without reservation.

We came for a funeral in the district and this was the one easy part of the week. There was a list of shops and their opening hours on the table, which was useful on the Sunday. Would stay again.
