A reed-thatched hut on the edge of the marsh, raised on posts, with a stove and a boardwalk to the door. Marschau is in the Osmoor, in the military district. Guests register with the host on arrival, as the regulations require. There is room for 4 guests: 2 bedrooms, 2 beds.

Quiet enough to hear the clock. The towels were thick and there were more of them than we needed. Five stars, and we do not give them lightly.

Spotless, warm and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Book it.

The instructions were clear and the key was where they said it would be. Clean, comfortable and exactly where it says it is. We have already booked for next year.

A pleasant reed-thatched marsh hut in a good spot. There were only two chairs at the table.

We stayed a weekend and enjoyed it. Jurgen left bread, eggs and coffee for the first morning. The road outside is busier in the morning than we expected.
